Almost neglected till very recent times, it is now developing as an industrial settlement of some importance. Though the fort at Neemrana is built at five levels, an 18th century stepwell within walking distance has eleven levels. Neemrana is exactly 100 km from Delhi, and 122 km from Jaipur.

Neemrana Fort Palace: Almost a grand rubble till only a decade ago, Neemrana has been painstakingly restored by its present owners who have provided modern facilities (electricity, piped water, attached bathrooms), though some times with a touch of whimsy (1oos with a view) to recreate the finest royal experience that can be savoured. All the 35 rooms have different views, private sit-outs, and each is furnished in its own, inimicable style, recreating a flavour that is unique - the Shikar Mahal on the rooftop, for example, consists of a luxurious tent. The restaurant serves French, Indian and Rajasthani cuisine, and there is also a conference room. R enovation in parts of the fort are still continuing.
