: Near Mysore (16km; 10 miles) in Karnataka. Mysore is the nearest
airport, with the closest railhead being Srirangapatna.
Climate of ranganathittoo National Park : The southwest monsoon brings rainfall from June to September; the northeast monsoon from November to February. Summer is hot and humid (maximum 37°C; 99°F) while winter is mild (minimum 18°C; 64°F).
When to go ranganathittoo National Park : Best months are between July and September, after summer (April to mid-June). It is cooler, attracting nesting birds.
