Destination Covered: Delhi - Guwahati - Kaziranga
Tour Description: Many of the North-Eastern region of India is quite a mystery. But if you were to visit the flood plains of the Brahmaputra River in Assam, you`d stumble across one of India`s best kept secret - Kaziranga. Often referred to as the "Land of Giants", the riverine habitat consists primarily of tall, dense grasslands and tropical wet evergreen forests. Interconnecting streams and numerous small lakes or `Bheels` dot the eastern Himalayan landscape. Highlight of this tour is exploring Eastern India one horn rhino park which boasts of best sightings of rhinos as well as Wild Bison and if you are lucky enough then probably shy leopards too..The best season to vsit is between the mid of Nov to April .



Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Arrive at New Delhi International Airport. Met with your airport representative and transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay at deluxe or similar Hotel.

Day 2: Delhi - Guwahati - Kaziranga
Departure transfer to domestic airport to board trans Himalayan flight to reach Guwahati. Arrive at Guwahati and met with your transfer representative who will guide you during the scenic drive to reach Kaziranga (5 hrs. drive approx.). Arrive at Kaziranga and check in at Jungle Lodge. In the evening enjoy dinner watching the tribal or Bihu dance beside the log fire under bamboo grove (subject to advance booking). Overnight stay at the Jungle Lodge.

Day 3: Kaziranga
Morning elephant ride inside the park. If elephant ride facility is provided by the Kaziranga Park authority, then please make sure to take the safari trip within these timings: 1st ride - 5.30 am to 6.30 am; 2nd ride: 6.30 am to 7.30 am. Wake up call half an hour before the ride. Afternoon pay a visit to the tribal village followed by visit to another nearby village later that afternoon to see silk worm rearing which is famous handicraft product from the region. Dinner and overnight stay at the Jungle Lodge.

Day 4: Kaziranga
Morning elephant ride inside the park. If elephant ride facility is provided by the Kaziranga Park authority, then please make sure to take the safari trip within these timings: 1st ride - 5.30 am to 6.30 am; 2nd ride: 6.30 am to 7.30 am. Wake up call half an hour before the ride. Afternoon pay a visit to the tea garden and tea factory. Enjoy a lavish dinner at a tea garden bungalow (subject to advance booking and availability). Overnight stay at the Jungle Lodge.

Day 5: Kaziranga - Guwahati
Morning after breakfast we drive to reach Guwahati. Arrive at Guwahati and check in at the hotel. Afternoon excursion to Kamakhya Temple (which is very famous and one of the sacred Hindu Goddess temple) and sunset ride on river boat on the river Bramhaputra a sight worth venturing onto (subject to advance booking and availability) Overnight stay at hotel

Day 6: Guwahati - Delhi / Kolkata
Morning at leisure for independent activities. Leaving Guwahati late in the afternoon we are transferred straight to the Airport to board our onward destination flight
